APT offers a wide range of fluoropolymers for precise tubings solutions. This allows us to realize individual solutions for your special requirements.
High-performance materials for the most demanding applications
Fluoropolymers are high-performance thermoplastics and are among the most technically sophisticated and valuable plastic materials due to their outstanding properties. APT has many years of experience in processing these materials and extrudes in particular the fluorinated thermoplastics FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene), PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene).
These materials are characterized by exceptionally high chemical resistance - even to aggressive acids, solvents or oxidizing agents. In addition, they offer outstanding temperature stability over a wide range of applications from -200 °C to +260 °C, combined with excellent resistance to ageing and weathering.
Fluoropolymers are also anti-adhesive, have a very low coefficient of friction and exhibit minimal gas and liquid permeability. This makes them ideal for applications where purity, impermeability and process reliability have the highest priority - for example in chemical, analytical, semiconductor or process engineering.
APT masters the entire process chain - from material selection and precise extrusion to shaping and further processing. A deep understanding of materials and application-specific advice result in products that make optimum use of the special properties of fluoropolymers and meet the highest quality and functionality requirements.
