Product data

Construction / Material

Type of constructionextruded hose without metal spiral
Execution of the wallmade of electrically insulating material, very low sliding and static friction expressed by a low coefficient of friction, extruded, made from a copolymer of TFE (tetrafluoroethylene) with a side chain modification of PPVE (perfluoropropylvinyl ether), friction-reducing‚ self-lubricating material, made of pure material, good dielectric properties, good stress crack resistance
Material of the wallfully fluorinated plastic PFA (perfluoroalkoxy)
Specifications of the wallfire resistance/non flammable (UL 94: V0)

Properties

Chemical Propertiesvery good resistance to chemicals, good UV resistance, weather-resistant, non wetting, chemical inertness, good resistance to corrosive chemicals, good resistance to solvents
Mechanical Propertieshigh Hardness and wear resistance
Physical Propertiesiow permeation, low surface energy
Colourtransparent to translucent (depending on wall thickness)
Othermaterial with excellent non-stick properties enables optimal residue emptying, non-toxic, low extractability, resistance to harsh environment

Operating Temperature

Temperature Range-200 to 260 °C

Application Areas

Areas of applicationAutomotive, Plant & Mechanical Engineering, Industry, Medical Technology, Semiconductor Industry, Aerospace technology, Chemistry, Food & Pharma, Painting Technology

Customizing Options

optional item modification (on request)other colours, sterilisable, heat- and steam-resistant material‚ making it autoclavable‚ which allows for steam sterilization, good weldability, FDA and USP Class VI compliant types available, NSF Compliance depending on grade, Food compliant (FDA/EU...) depending on type, ATEX conform conductive properties on request

* The minimum bending radius specifications for our tubings are partly theoretical and represent typical values at 23 °C. The specifications are provided for comparison purposes only and do not represent guaranteed properties. They must be verified by the user.,** The burst pressure specifications for our tubings are partly theoretical and are based on the unit bar at a room temperature of 23 °C. The values are used for product comparison purposes, but do not represent guaranteed properties of our products. Pressure resistance decreases as temperatures rise. For safe operation, we recommend maintaining at least three times the safety margin (max. operating pressure = space pressure at the corresponding operating temperature /3).
